WALLY desperately needs a home!!!  His recent adoption fell through.  He is neutered and current with all vaccinations.  Please give Wally a CHANCE!!!  He is waiting for you!!!

Wally’s future is not good if not adopted soon.  He has been at the shelter 4 months and is becoming agitated with other male dogs.  He has been tossed from one dog pen to another due to over-crowding.  If a good home is not found soon, it will be more humane to euthanize Wally than to keep placing new dogs in his pen and forcing him to compete for food with his one good eye. (Poor Wally is BLIND IN HIS RIGHT EYE.)

Wally is a beautiful German shepherd mix. He was brought to the Leland MS shelter at the beginning of June 2008.  He is a very happy dog and enjoys being with people.

Wally is heartworm positive and will need treatment.  (Please don’t let that deter you from interest in Wally.  We can arrange treatment.) He is up to date on all vaccinations.  As with all of our dogs listed on this website, you must meet certain qualifications, be able to give vet references, agree to a home visit by a volunteer representative, and pay an adoption fee.
