SHELTER
Many
of our shelter animals need special care. They all receive vaccinations provided
by ARRF
to prevent diseases. Many require costly
heartworm treatment. Some dogs arrive
at the
shelter requiring extensive medical treatment due to injuries.

you have fallen in love with a dog or puppy that you saw on our Dogs available for

page but you
are unable to bring an animal into your home right now.
For
these reasons, we have created the Sponsor-A-Pet program. This program allows you
to donate
on behalf of a specific dog or puppy located at the Leland Animal Shelter in

If
you already know which animal you would like to sponsor, simply click the “Make
A Donation”

below and proceed with your secure online tax-deductible
donation. If you would
like to look
at the animals to choose one, browse the Dogs available for
adoption page, then return to this page.
After
making a sponsorship donation, you will receive acknowledgment from a volunteer.
If you
are making your sponsorship donation by Paypal, we
will acknowledge the amount you
donated in
an e-mailed letter for tax receipt purposes. Within the small block for
comments,
please be
sure to indicate the name of the animal you wish to sponsor.
If
you choose to send your donation by check, please make payable to: Animal Relief and
Rescue
Fellowship or ARRF. Checks can be mailed
